The CSPOA was started because of the huge need to remind sheriffs and peace officers about their oath of office.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout America, law enforcement agencies have a slogan that defines the primary function of the agency. The slogan, which has been used for decades, yet which has been removed from the door of many police agency patrol vehicles, is\u00a0<\/span>To Protect and Serve.<\/b><\/p>\n

We need to take a long hard look at the meaning of this slogan, and make sure that our individual and collective philosophy as well as our individual attitude and behavior reflects this worthy objective.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Peace officers have a tougher job today than 20 years ago.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Society seems to be polarized into two camps. One loves the police, and the other hates us. It may be partially due to the fact that some peace officers, and some training modules seem to foster the belief that we are somehow \u201cbetter\u201d than the people we serve.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This can lead to a \u201cbadge heavy\u201d attitude, and sometimes to the excessive use of force. This must not continue.\u00a0 We must eliminate any training or behavior that tarnishes the badge, including the \u201ccode of silence\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Making its way to America, the Sheriff held his office as the highest law enforcement officer within that county jurisdiction.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This is very important, considering that most peace officers are \u201csworn officers\u201d, who take oaths to support the state and U.S. Constitutions. The same oath being sworn by the sheriff when constitutionally elected to office is significant in the fact that he or she is the first line of defense in preserving the Constitutional rights of a citizen.<\/span><\/p>\n

When we look at the Office of the Sheriff, combined with the historical powers held by that office, he stands as the upholder, defender, protector and servant to the liberties of the people within the county.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to upholding the law, the sheriff is also charged with upholding the supreme law, the Constitution.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The law enforcement powers held by the sheriff supersede those of any agent, officer, elected official or employee from any level of government when in the jurisdiction of the county.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The vertical separation of powers in the Constitution makes it clear that the power of the sheriff even supersedes the powers of the President.\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Furthermore, it is this responsibility that grants a Sheriff the Constitutional authority to check and balance all levels of government within the jurisdiction of the County.<\/span><\/p>\n

And other peace officers, including police officers and others with arrest powers, join with the Sheriff and deputies, as Constitutional Guards, with one and the same mission:\u00a0 to protect life, liberty and property.<\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s probably three or four and it fits into what\u2019s going on today. You need to first and foremost ask the sheriff.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cDo you consider yourself a constitutional Sheriff?\u201d<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

If he says no, I don\u2019t even know what that\u2019s about.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And then you ask him,

\u201cAre you familiar with the CSPOA? The Constitutional Sheriffs & Peace Officers Association?\u201d<\/i>\u00a0

No,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAre you familiar with Sheriff Mack?\u201d\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

No, that\u2019s not gonna happen very often, I promise you that it\u2019s not going to happen very often.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I got a call from a sheriff in Minnesota today. And I just got back from Minnesota. One of his constituents went and talked to him about the meeting they saw, and the training that they received from me on Saturday night, the sheriff called me. And it was because the citizen called him.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And so this is exactly what we want all of you to do.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

And so you ask him, but if he says, Yes, I am a constitutional sheriff.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

If he says no, then you said, well, would you still ask him these questions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSo sheriff, if Biden makes this, what he promised he would do, and makes an executive order that we\u2019re going to confiscate all AR-15s and AK-47s. And any other assault rifle they want to name. And we\u2019re going to go door to door if we have to, and we\u2019ll solicit the help of all the police departments in every state, and the county sheriff\u2019s offices, which won\u2019t be very many.\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

We\u2019re going to ask everybody to go door to door and get these guns. And we know a lot of them because we looked up the records from the B ATF Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

And those are supposed to be confidential. But I guarantee if Biden wants them, he\u2019ll get them.\u201d<\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

So you ask him,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWill you stop that?\u201d\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Well, I won\u2019t do it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNo, I didn\u2019t ask you that. Will you stand and interpose? and protect us from gun confiscation?\u201d\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

And then, depending on his answer, you want to carry out a conversation with that one, and then offer him to get trained. Either way, these sheriffs in this country need to come to our training.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Now we are having another CSPOA conference. This is our first one ever in Texas. And we\u2019ve been wanting to do this a long time. And we have some of our committee members who live in Texas, and they\u2019re really helping with this.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And so anyway, it is open to the public. To a certain extent, but I think we\u2019re gonna get a lot of public officials and sheriffs, especially in Texas and surrounding states that are going to attend. And it is getting a lot of excitement.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

By the way, we have two judges that are already on our speakers speakers list. We have a state senator on our speaker\u2019s list, we have former state rep. Steve Tov, he does right near there. And he called me and he\u2019s very excited about it. Anyway, there\u2019s a lot of excitement about this conference.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

So if you want to try to get there, please get to\u00a0our website<\/a>\u00a0tomorrow, sometime. I believe that you can start getting ready for that or call us here at our office and we\u2019ll sign you up. It does cost Yes. But it\u2019s very minimal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

And then the next question you want to ask him is,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWill you enforce mask laws? Will you shut our businesses that for those of business owners who cannot see a way to pay their employees to feed their families to pay their rent, and they have defied the law because they are so desperate to be able to pay their bills, that they\u2019ve opened their establishments?\u201d\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Anyway, the governor\u2019s orders notwithstanding. And then police want to come and arrest them. And they have.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Okay. Now the last one is you asked him point blank,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re already talking about forcing us to take vaccinations. Several countries have already listed it that if you don\u2019t have proof on your passport, that you\u2019ve had the vaccination for COVID that you will not be able to travel.\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

And so you know what\u2019s happening next, if that happens, they\u2019re going to set up roadblocks between states. And if you get prove that you were vaccinated, you go back to where you came from. So you\u2019re going to start planning vacations inside your own state, and maybe they\u2019ll come up with a way to stop that too, to keep people that haven\u2019t been vaccinated home.\u201d<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know if you guys have seen all the evidence out there about vaccinations. But I\u2019m telling you, it\u2019s by some people I totally trust and I\u2019m not getting one, but that\u2019s your choice.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t pretend to tell you how to run your lives. But I would pretend, not pretend, I would be serious about telling everyone you should investigate both sides of the efficacy or the dangers of a COVID vaccination and make the best choice for you and your family. That\u2019s all I will say on that.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

But yes, you want your Sheriff to be able to tell you.<\/span><\/p>\n
