TWITTER Faces Financial Nightmare Over False User Accounts (Bots)<\/a><\/h2>\n

TWITTER is facing a financial nightmare and potential legal trouble after buyer Elon Musk indicated publicly a majority of Twitter “Users” may be FAKE ACCOUNTS used by “bots” instead of real people. Twitter must now prove it didn’t LIE in filings to the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) when it claimed Bots are only 5%.<\/p>\n

Twitter is in a terrible position.<\/p>\n

It is facing potentially devastating lawsuits for claiming less than 5% of its users were fake, or bots, in its filings with the SEC.<\/p>\n

To report lies to the SEC is enough to take down any company and cause it to go bankrupt.<\/p>\n

If investors make decisions based on a company\u2019s financials, which they do, and those financials are found to be false, a company could be taken out.<\/p>\n

Earlier this week, reports circulated on social media\u00a0on the challenges Twitter has in reporting only 5% of its accounts are bots. In 2017 it was found that both President Trump and Hillary Clinton had millions of bots included in their list of followers,\u00a0many more than 5%.<\/p>\n

Musk tweeted moments ago claiming his offer to buy TWITTER was based on Twitter filing honest SEC records.<\/p>\n

“20% fake\/spam accounts, while 4 times what Twitter claims, could be *much* higher.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

My offer was based on Twitter\u2019s SEC filings being accurate.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Yesterday, Twitter\u2019s CEO publicly refused to show proof of <5%.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

This deal cannot move forward until he does.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Late last week, an analysis of Twitter “Followers” of (Illegitimate) President Joe Biden found that upwards of 49.5% of the 22 MILLION accounts following Biden are fake . . . bots.<\/p>\n

Software company\u00a0SparkToro<\/a>\u00a0found that 49.3 percent of accounts following the official @POTUS Twitter account are \u201cfake followers\u201d or inauthentic accounts known as bots, according to\u00a0a\u00a0report<\/a>\u00a0by\u00a0Newsweek.<\/p>\n

The same analysis\u00a0reportedly<\/a>\u00a0also found that more than 14 million accounts that follow Biden\u2019s personal @JoeBiden Twitter account are either fake or insufficiently active.\u00a0Therefore, a\u00a0crackdown on fake Twitter accounts could see users like Biden lose a huge number of followers.<\/p>\n

SparkToro reportedly defines fake followers as \u201caccounts that are unreachable and will not see the account\u2019s tweets (either because they\u2019re spam, bots, propaganda, etc. or because they\u2019re no longer active on Twitter).\u201d<\/p>\n

The news of Biden\u2019s fake Twitter followers comes after Tesla founder Elon Musk, who is\u00a0currently trying to buy Twitter, expressed concerns about the number of bots on the social media platform.<\/p>\n

TWITTER claims 229 million users.\u00a0 \u00a0 With just the Biden account alone, 11 million are said to be fakes, which is already 5% of TWITTERS total accounts!\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

This seems to indicate that many, MANY, more TWITTER accounts are fakes. . . . and rumors right now, say that upward of . . . get this . . . NINETY PERCENT . . . of all TWITTER accounts may be fakes.<\/p>\n
